About this file

This document is Addendum No. 4 to an Invitation for Bids (IFB) issued by the Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Transit Administration (MDOT MTA) for the procurement of services to perform pigeon dropping clean up, disinfection, and deterrent measures at the Bird Droppings Eastern Shop facility. The addendum revises the scope of work to include installing plastic sheeting, removing ceiling insulation, applying neutralizing chemicals, cleaning treated surfaces, purchasing and installing optical gel deterrents, and providing appropriate trash removal. The addendum also adds an example Safety Data Sheet form to the IFB attachments and provides details on an additional site visit.

The IFB requires bidders to provide pricing for the specified services, with the Administration intending to make a single award. Bidders must submit their bids in response to this addendum, which amends the previously issued IFB documents. The contract resulting from this procurement will be for the MDOT MTA, with the successful bidder remaining responsible for contract performance regardless of any subcontractor participation.
