The addendum updates several key details, including revising the questions due date, bid due date, and public bid opening date. It also modifies the scope of work by removing certain responsibilities and adding new ones, such as installing plastic sheeting, removing insulation, applying neutralizing chemicals, and installing Opti gel discs to deter future bird activity. The contract duration is 2 years.
The contract will be awarded on a firm fixed price basis to the responsive bidder submitting the most favorable total bid price. The procurement has a small business reserve (SBR) designation. Prospective bidders were required to attend a pre-bid conference and site visit on January 4, 2023. The IFB includes details on required insurance coverage, bid submission requirements, and the basis for contract award.
