About this file
This is Amendment 3 to RFP 2022-170000-0909 issued by Henry County Schools in Georgia for robotics design equipment for grades 3-5. The solicitation seeks competitive proposals from qualified offerors to provide robotics equipment enabling students in grades 3-5 to engage in STEM learning, coding principles, and robotics competitions. The equipment must be versatile for both classroom instruction and competition settings. Amendment 3 modifies the final selection criteria and introduces a public review requirement for submitted equipment. The solicitation includes an optional presentation step at the discretion of the Evaluation Team, where offerors may provide brief demonstrations of their robotics competition platform during the week of November 8-12 from 3:30-5:30 PM EST. Demonstrations may be conducted either in-person or via live/virtual video call, with a maximum duration of 20 minutes. Demo samples must be received by October 15, 2021, and should be submitted to Carrie Edwards at Henry County Schools, 33 North Zack Hinton Parkway, McDonough, Georgia 30253.
Award will be made to the highest-scoring firm determined by the Evaluation Team to have submitted the best responses that enhance the District's ability to fulfill its robotics equipment mandate. All costs associated with presentations are the offeror's responsibility. If presentations are conducted, a maximum of 20 points may be assigned based on the demonstration quality. For in-person demonstrations, Henry County Schools will follow its COVID-19 Management Plan and appropriate mitigation strategies based on the current level at the time of presentations. The District reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals and may base final selection on evaluation of both written and oral responses from each offeror, subject to public review of interested parties as required by Board policy.
