About this file

This is Amendment #2 to an Invitation for Bid issued by the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources on behalf of the SC Department of Corrections for the procurement of thermal roll paper. The solicitation number is 5400020230, with a bid opening date of August 27, 2020 at 10:00 AM. Sealed offers must be submitted to the SC Department of Corrections Purchasing Branch at 4420 Broad River Road, Columbia, SC 29210, either online through the SCEIS system or as one hard copy. Questions from offerors must be received by August 19, 2020 at 12:00 noon, directed to procurement officer Andy Bowman at BowmanA@dnr.sc.gov or 803-734-3933. Award notification is scheduled for August 27, 2020, and bidders must hold their offers open for a minimum of thirty calendar days after the opening date. No pre-bid conference or site visit is required for this solicitation.

The amendment addresses vendor inquiries regarding product specifications and ordering procedures. The thermal roll paper specifications include 140 feet per roll with the SCDNR logo printed on the front only, repeating the entire length of the roll. Minimum order quantities are 500 rolls per shipment. Samples may be required and, if requested, must be provided within five days of the low bidder determination; failure to submit samples upon request will result in offer rejection. The document references a previous contract (4400009128, now expired) for pricing and vendor information. No specific contract term or pricing requirements are detailed in this amendment; all other terms and conditions from the original solicitation remain unchanged.
