About this file
This document is Amendment 1 to the Kewanee Recirculation Valves and Pump Project Bid #22-426DOC-KEWAN-B-29140 issued by the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC). The amendment provides responses to vendor questions regarding the procurement, including clarification that this is a single, one-time purchase of the specified products rather than periodic purchases. The amendment indicates the procurement is for a single purchase, with no periodic or spaced-out deliveries required. Pricing is requested for the full quantities to be purchased at once, rather than periodic or incremental purchases. No additional details are provided regarding pricing terms, set-asides, incumbents, funding sources, or other salient commercial aspects of the opportunity.

IDOC – Kewanee Recirculation Valves and Pumps Project Bid #22-426DOC-KEWAN-B-29140
Amendment #1
Response to Vendor’s Questions to Request For Quote
Below are the responses to the questions that IDOC has received regarding the above Procurement:
1. Are we correct in thinking that the column titled "one time charge" is if all quantities are purchased at once and the column titled "periodic charge" is for the quantities being purchased sporadically over the term until 8/15/22?
Answer: "Periodic Charges" would refer to items that were to be delivered/purchased periodically and not all at once. This procurement is a single purchase/all at once, and no periodical items.
2. Are there product specifications or preferred manufacturers/models for these items?
Answer: The project was engineered around the Powers/Watts, IntelliStation products - 1 ½” Model LFIS150VL Code 6551602, 1” Model LFIS100VL Code 6551601, and ¾” Model LFIS075VL Code 6551600. Comparable brands and models will be acceptable.
