About this file
This is an Amendment (#1) to an Informal Solicitation (#33501-268101) issued by the State of Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance for expert review and witness testimony for the Tennessee Board of Examiners for Land Surveyors. The solicitation was originally released on September 30, 2025, with key dates including a written questions deadline of October 6, 2025, a response deadline of October 22, 2025, and a proposed contract start date of December 15, 2025. The amendment updates the solicitation schedule, clarifies residency requirements for respondents, and provides guidance on contract submission.
The amendment specifies that respondents must provide a statement confirming continuous Tennessee residency for at least five years as of January 1, 2025, and current state residency. No notarization is required for respondent statements, and respondents should not fill out the contract themselves. The State will finalize the contract and provide it to the awarded respondent for signature. The solicitation does not include specific pricing details or funding sources in this amendment, focusing instead on procedural clarifications and timeline updates for the solicitation process.
