About this file

This is Amendment #1 to a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) for the procurement of engineering-grade bond paper. The solicitation seeks 18" x 650' rolls of 20 LB bond paper with an expected total quantity of 250 rolls to be delivered in two separate orders of 125 rolls each during the period from July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021. The RFQ was issued on June 15, 2020, with offers due by June 23, 2020 at 2:30 PM EST. No pre-bid conference or site visit is required. Award notification is scheduled for June 24, 2020. Offerors must submit a single signed copy of their offer online through the South Carolina procurement website and agree to hold their offer open for a minimum of thirty calendar days following the opening date.

The amendment clarifies operational requirements by confirming that packaging may consist of 4 rolls per carton instead of the originally specified 2 rolls per carton and confirms that deliveries are not scheduled on a fixed timeline but will occur as ordered by SCDOT. No specific pricing terms, set-asides, or incumbent information are addressed in this amendment. Offerors must register as South Carolina vendors and identify their entity type, state of incorporation (if applicable), and provide an authorized representative's signature on the cover page submission form.
