About this file
This is Amendment #1 to an Invitation for Bids issued by the South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation & Tourism for grounds maintenance services at the Hardeeville Welcome Center. The solicitation, numbered 5400020239, requires bidders to provide comprehensive landscaping and grounds maintenance services, including weekly mowing of clear zones adjacent to the interstate, installation and maintenance of mulch, and annual cutting and disposal of decorative grasses. The bid deadline is October 6, 2020 at 1:00 p.m., with award notification scheduled for October 9, 2020. A pre-bid conference was previously held prior to this amendment. Offers must be submitted online through the South Carolina procurement portal, and bidders must maintain their offers for a minimum of thirty calendar days following the opening date.
All costs for grounds maintenance services, including mulch installation and labor, must be incorporated into the monthly bid amount as specified in the contract requirements. The amendment clarifies that the contractor is responsible for maintaining all landscape areas on the property on a weekly basis for the full contract year, with debris removal performed off-site. No specific contract term, pricing structure, or other salient financial details are provided in this amendment document.
