About this file

This document is an amendment to a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Service for the installation of Whelen light and siren equipment on LE (law enforcement) vehicles. The solicitation number is 5400026845, with a bid opening date of June 14, 2024 at 3:00 PM EST and an award date of June 18, 2024. The amendment provides clarification on questions related to the equipment, including the use of a HHS3200 controller, Whelen siren speakers and light fixtures, and the requirement for the vehicles to be received from the State of SC Fleet Management location rather than being drop-shipped. No site visit or pre-bid conference is scheduled.

The RFQ does not mention any pricing terms, set-asides, incumbents, funding requirements, or other salient information beyond the details of the equipment and installation. Offerors must submit one signed copy of the offer form, and the award will be posted on the South Carolina procurement website.
