The solicitation requests bids for bulk road salt delivery via 22-ton dump trucks to support campus grounds maintenance operations. The primary delivery locations are University Housing at 2902 Haight Road, Madison, WI 53705, and Facilities Grounds at 502 Herrick Drive, Madison, WI 53706, with flexibility to accept deliveries to any UW Madison main campus address as operational needs change. The initial contract term runs from September 1, 2023, or the date of award, through August 31, 2027, with automatic renewal for two additional one-year terms unless either party provides written notification 90 calendar days prior to expiration of the initial or succeeding contract term. Bids must be submitted online at https://bids.sciquest.com/apps/Router/PublicEvent?CustomerOrg=UWisconsin, with questions directed to Brad Bauman at brad.bauman@wisc.edu.
The standard minimum order quantity established for this contract is one 22-ton dump truck delivery. Regarding pricing for contract years two and three, bidders should note that any price increase requests must be submitted in writing to Purchasing no later than 90 calendar days prior to the effective date of the proposed increase, accompanied by an updated price list and fully documented cost justification. The University reserves the right to accept, reject, or negotiate proposed price increases, and may rebid the contract in whole or in part if increases are deemed unacceptable.

A2: University Housing: 2902 HAIGHT RD MADISON, WI 53705. Facilities Grounds: 502 HERRICK DR MADISON, WI 53706, although any UW Madison main campus address would be considered valid for purposes of this contract should needs change.
