About this file

This is an Amendment 1 document related to an Environmental Regulatory Records Search contract opportunity in Texas. The amendment modifies the original solicitation by adjusting key contract parameters and requirements. The primary service involves conducting comprehensive environmental regulatory records searches, which are essential for property due diligence and compliance verification. The amendment outlines revised specifications for the scope of work, deliverables, and performance standards that bidders must address in their proposals. The contract term and any renewal options remain subject to the conditions specified in the original solicitation documents, with the amendment serving to clarify or expand upon those original terms.

The amendment addresses pricing terms, evaluation criteria, and operational requirements for the environmental records search services. This document establishes any modifications to set-aside provisions, incumbent contractor considerations, and funding mechanisms outlined in the base solicitation. The amendment ensures all prospective bidders are aware of revised specifications and requirements before submitting proposals, maintaining transparency in the competitive procurement process and allowing bidders to develop compliant and competitive responses.

USE OF NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF GOVERNMENTAL PURCHASING CODE

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) uses the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing, Inc., (NIGP) code to standardize purchases by conforming to the class, item, and group structure of the code. The NIGP code is used to select vendors for our master vendor file from the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) Centralized Master Bidders List (CMBL).

New suppliers and other vendors wishing to furnish materials, equipment, supplies and services to TxDOT should apply to be on the CMBL to receive bidding opportunities.

Existing TxDOT vendors need only be concerned that the information listed on the CMBL file is correct, and that the applicable NIGP class and item are selected for those you can provide.

CMBL information is available online at: https://comptroller.texas.gov/purchasing/vendor/cmbl/ or by phoning 512-463-3459.
