About this file

This document is a contract amendment between the Illinois Department of Natural Resources and Probyn Trucking and Excavating LLC for the limited rehabilitation of the Aitchison Refuge levee. The contract was originally awarded through an Invitation for Bid (IFB) process and published on September 14, 2018. This amendment extends the contract completion date from December 31, 2019 to September 30, 2020 due to delays caused by Illinois River flooding during the contract term. The scope of work remains the same, including the use of reclaimed sediments, earthwork shaping, and placement of riprap stone for erosion control.

The contract compensation method remains unchanged, and the overall contract cost will stay the same. No subcontractors are being added, deleted, or changed under this amendment. The document also includes standard certifications required for the vendor and any subcontractors, covering compliance with state laws and regulations.
