About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers response file for RFP AHEC17922R, a transport gas contracting opportunity involving the Auraria Higher Education Center (AHEC), Metropolitan State University Denver, and the Community College of Denver. The RFP seeks a contractor to provide gas services across multiple sites operated by the three participating institutions. The selected contractor will enter into a single master contract with AHEC as the contracting entity, with the legal name "Auraria Higher Education Center" designated for insurance purposes. The question deadline was April 28, 2017 at 5:00 PM, and vendors were required to submit clarifications regarding site assignments, legal entity names, and billing procedures prior to submitting their proposals.

Offerors are permitted to propose markups to the model contract (Attachment A) provided with the RFP, though all modifications must be included with their proposal submission. The selected contractor will be required to bill each of the three participating institutions separately for their respective gas usage, with distinct accounts payable addresses provided for MSU Denver, AHEC, and Community College of Denver. The contract structure establishes AHEC as the single contracting entity while maintaining separate billing relationships with each institution to facilitate proper cost allocation and accounting procedures across the three organizations.

University and Community College of Denver. On page 22, we are given the list of sites, but we do not know which sites fall under each agency. We also need to know if this is the legal name for all 3 agencies for Credit purposes and for insurance purposes.

Education Center which will include any and all participating institutions mentioned in the RFP. The

Auraria Higher Education Center shall be used as the legal name for insurance purposes.

2) Is attachment A – the model contract negotiable?

Response: The model contract may be negotiable; however, the Offeror must include all markups to the contact with their RFP response.
