About this file
The document is a technical specification for a milk analyzer issued by the Bureau of Clinical Laboratories located in Prattville, Alabama. The specification details the requirements for a new milk analyzer that can test processed or raw milk from skim to 40% cream, with the ability to analyze six key parameters including fat, protein, lactose, total solids, solids non-fat, and freezing point. The analyzer must use Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) technology, have a 1-minute analysis time per 6ml sample, and operate within specific environmental conditions (5-35°C, <80% humidity). The equipment must be new, come with a one-year warranty, and include onsite training and instructional materials.
The technical specification requires a comprehensive quote that includes all associated costs such as parts, labor, installation, and delivery to the Bureau of Clinical Laboratories at 204 Legends Court in Prattville, AL 36066. The analyzer must meet precise measuring ranges for each parameter, with calibration options for both milk and cream samples, and operate on a 100-240V power supply. The physical specifications include dimensions of 345 x 285 x 280 mm and a weight of 10.5 kg. Delivery, installation, and training are to be conducted during the laboratory's business hours (7 am - 5 pm CST).
