Q1. What should Contractors do with the existing insulation between the purlins?

A1. The insulation may be left in place. If it needs to be removed to install roofing or perform other tasks of the contract, it is to be neatly stacked in a place designated by the Government. If it falls down on its own during the contract, the insulation is picked up and also neatly stacked in the designated area. The insulation does not need to be reinstalled as part of the contract.
