2. QUESTION: What type of fill will be used to bring the new tank to the elevation of the existing tank? Is there a borrow site or a pit nearby?
ANSWER: There is a borrow site within ½ mile of the job site.
3. QUESTION: Do you want HDPE or PVC?
ANSWER: The pipe shall be PVC, Schedule 40 as per drawing sheet #2. The trench detail has been altered to reflect this.
4. QUESTION: The existing inlet is 2” but the drawings show that the inlet for the new tank will be 3”, what should really be there?
ANSWER: The drawings have been changed to show a 2” inlet for each tank.
5. QUESTION: The overflow appears to be headed up hill, is that correct?
ANSWER: The drawings showed an ambiguous placement of the overflow outlet with a note that the outlet shall be near the existing outlet. The drawings have been altered to show the correct location more clearly.
6. QUESTION: Can we use a connection such as a saddle to tie into the existing supply line to the campground?
