Pipe Excavation --
Slash Placement
10%
Slash shall be placed on 25-50% of all cut slopes. Insufficient slash coverage.
Pipe Excavation –
Erosion Control
Blankets and Wattles
10%
Protect stream habitat by reducing erosion into excavation. Protect seeded slopes with blankets installed according to manufacturer’s specifications. Seed must be blue tag certified, and accompanied by an analysis report.
Evidence of soil leakage, slumping, or erosion into streams. Loose ends of blankets and gaps between blankets. Lack of rocks/slash/staples to hold blankets in place.
