Meeting Summary and Questions:

Met with the Contractors and went over base and optional items, then we walked the project and looked at different portions as we walked.

Estimated at delivery time of 60-90 days from date of order of CXT toilet building.

Utilities are schematic, electrical plan shall be the responsibility of the Contractor and shall be designed, reviewed, and stamped/approved by an electrical engineer registered in the state of Missouri.

I told the Contractor that the electrical panel replacement project was being advertised if they were interested.

Q: What types of railings/guards/fence post footings will be built for the river access/retaining structures?

A: Holes shall be cast in concrete slabs for rail posts and sonotubes placed in backfill (locations shown in new details) and cost shall be incidental to the cost of the construction of the optional retaining structures. Cost to construct railings/guards will be paid under Item 06 Division 10: Specialties Work, 5. Eroded River Bank Reconstruction Handrails (OBI). Updated drawings are attached. Note that all concrete flatwork associated with retaining structure that will support hand/guardrails shall be increased in thickness from 4” to 6”.

Q: Where does asphalt sealant on access road begin?

A: Begins after the Park Service Office at the Forest Service Watercress Campground sign.

Q: Is the host site electrical a base or optional bid item?

A: See Item 08 for description of base and optional items.

Q: Will the Contractor be responsible for relocating the existing fee tube and kiosk near the host site?

A: No, a new fee tube will be supplied by the Forest Service. The exiting tube and kiosk will remain.
