Text version

Who is responsible for staking and as-built drawings? Staking and as-built drawings will be done by

NRCS.

What is the maintenance period for bonds? Contractor must maintain bond coverage throughout the performance of the contract and NRCS will not release the bond for a year after completion of all work, in accordance with federal and state law.

What caused the significant performance time change? The performance time changed significantly because of the forecasted Notice to Proceed date. The Notice to Proceed will likely be the end of September or beginning of October and therefore, the weather days and holidays built into the contract increased. See Section I.10, Clause NRCSAR 4I-52.249-70.

Will anything need to be done with the well? The well is not a part of the NRCS easement and will be left open. The awarded contractor will need to note the easement boundary markers as there is a trail to the well that is also outside of the NRCS easement and avoid those areas.

Will both Journey and Plateau be required under Chemical Weed Control? That specification and bid item will be removed, see Amendment 2.
