Question No. 1: The playground area of 77’ x 77’ is rather large and would accommodate a large structure and swing set. Do you want to try to fill up that area or are you looking for a more modest structure and swing? There are minimum slide and climber requirements. It’s hard to tell if you are wanting to stay toward the minimum or whether to fill up the available space.

Answer No. 1: We would like to provide the best playground and equipment we can offer given the available space we have set aside.

Question No. 2: Is there a budget limit that you had in mind?

Answer No. 2: We are hoping to offer our visitors the highest-quality playground area and equipment for the best price to the government.

Question No. 3: So, you would like the proposal emailed, we usually send a hard copy but if email is easier for you then that is ok.

Answer No. 3: We will accept hard copy request for quotes by mail as long as they are postmarked and received at our office at 100 Van Morgan Drive, Golden Pond, KY 42211 by 2:00 p.m. CST on Friday, July 17, 2015. Emailed request for quotes are also acceptable as long as they are received at mamitchell@fs.fed.us by 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 17, 2015. NOTE: The United States Postal Service only delivers mail to our office on Tuesday and Friday of each week.

Question No. 4: Will you be accepting equals to what you have specified in the scope of work. For instance, would you consider a unit with all recycled decking but metal post?

Answer No. 4: Yes.

Question No. 5: Are you interested in having a particular theme?

Answer No. 5: We would like to consider options that may incorporate a nature or forest theme for all or some of the playground area.
