Specifications

* The Forest Service will supply paint, nails, signs, and maps for this project.

* The Forest Service needs 72.088 miles of property boundary line painted, see attached maps for locations. Work shall include the following:

- Existing marked trees to include witness/corners and line trees will be re-painted with red paint, See Exhibit 6, pages 1 and 2 for illustrated description.

- Scrape pine trees prior to repainting, and Hack trees as per guidelines.

- Sign every tree that is marked as a line tree (boundary line goes through the tree) with Forest Service provided sign “National Property Boundary”. These signs should also be placed before and after all stream/creek and road crossings. The nails will be left protruding at least 1” to provide for growth.

- Existing bearing trees will be refurbished, scrape/paint, see Exhibit 3 for illustrated bearing tree.

- The witness/corner tree locations will be brushed out to provide easy visibility. Brushing along the line will be necessary to only provide general walk through along the line.

- Put the paint on thick as some of the areas may not be re-marked for several years.

- Work to be completed no later than August 17, 2015.

- Paint USGS Marker Post, not over the emblem on top of the post.

- Victor Vazquez will be the U.S Forest Service field contact representative.
