Chippewa Trail Maintenance – Purchase signs, posts, materials Scope of Work Specifications

Contractor shall provide all materials delivered to the Walker and Blackduck Ranger District offices. Delivery will be April 14 and April 15th as determined by the contractor to each office. Acceptable delivery hours are between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Performance Requirements:

· Delivery of materials to the Walker or Blackduck District Offices as designated . Contact:

· GR refers to the Government Representative. This is limited to the Contracting Officer, the Contracting Officer’s Representative.. No other individuals have any authority on this contract.

· All materials shall be of high quality.

Measurement and Payment:

· Measurement and payment shall be as a LUMP SUM.

Performance Time:

· Delivery will be during normal business hours, Monday through Friday 0800 to 1630.

· There will be no deliveries accepted on this project on Federal Holidays during the summer season namely Memorial Day, Fourth of July, or Labor Day. If the contract extends over any of these dates, this time will not count against the performance time.

Basis of Award:

· Bidders shall enter a UNIT PRICE and AMOUNT for each PAY ITEM, and TOTAL AMOUNT AS for the BASE BID where indicated on the SCHEDULE OF ITEMS, in order to be considered responsive to this solicitation. Non-responsive bids will not be considered and will be rejected. The Government may award one contract to the lowest priced, responsive, responsible bidder.

Safety:

Perform all delivery operations in a prudent, conscientious, safe and professional manner. Ensure that all personnel involved in handling of materials are trained for the level of expertise required for the proper performance of the task.
