USDA envisions some of this data being managed in the Enterprise Architecture Repository. Technologies and sources of the information have not been determined.

3. Question: How does USDA maintain their mapping of IT infrastructure/assets to the

System they are a part of? And the OMB Investment that System in part of?

Answer: The IT infrastructure/assets to System mapping is currently maintained at the Agency level. It is generally in spreadsheet format, however some other types of repositories may exist. USDA envisions some of this data being managed in the Enterprise Architecture Repository. Technologies and sources of the information have not been determined.

The System to Investment mapping is maintained in AgMax.

4. Question: What technology is the CSAM, EAR and AgMax systems built upon?

Answer: CSAM is a DOJ custom developed system. The backend is SQLServer.

EAR is an EAD custom developed system using .NET and SQLServer.

AgMax is a COTS solution using Oracle Primavera.

5. Question: What reporting/alert systems does USDA have in place?

Answer: The reporting features for this project will be new requirements.

7. Question: If an RFP results from this RFI, what is the timeframe for the procurement of this “Integration Project” within FY16 and FY17? Will the award consist of task orders? If there is a phased approach with task orders, what are the expected phases and timeframes?

Answer: No determination has been made if/and or when any resulting RFP might be issued.

8. Question: If an RFP results from this RFI, what contract vehicle does USDA think it will utilize?

Answer: No determination has been made if/and or when any resulting RFP might be issued.

9. Question: Given the amount of scoping and integration work that needs to take place with this RFI, can the submission deadline be extended to September 9, 2016?

Answer: USDA is willing to extend the submission deadline to September 2, 2016 11am MST/1pm EST. See updated attachment, AG-3144-I-16-0059_OCIO Integration Project_v.2, Section 4.2 Electronic Responses

10. Question: The precedence and priority table in the OCIOP Vision document does not list the features, has it been intentionally kept blank?

Answer: The precedence and priority for the features has not yet been determined. USDA is currently working with our user community to determine these features.

11. Question: It states that all components listed in the functional component diagram as the primary solution components should be cross referenced in cost section (3.5) of this RFI.

Section 3.5 is "RISKS, ISSUES, ASSUMPTIONS, GAPS", did you mean to say Section 3.7?

Answer: Yes, the statement should read “All components listed in the functional component diagram as the primary solution components should be cross referenced in cost section (3.7) of this RFI.” See updated attachment, AG-3144-I- 16-0059_OCIO Integration Project_v.2, Section 3.1 Proposed Solution.

12. Question: What is the specific software or COTS product, and corresponding version for the CSAM application?

13. Question: What is the specific software or COTS product, and corresponding version for the AgMax application?

14. Question: What is the specific software or COTS product, and corresponding version for the EAR application?

15. Question: What volume should be expected from each source system (even if rough estimates)?

Answer: AgMax tracks approximately 200 Investments / 800 Systems EAR tracks approximately 700 Systems CSAM tracks approximately 700 Systems

Answer: No significant volume changes are anticipated within the next 5 years.

Data changes to the systems are cyclical in nature and follow closely with the CPIC budget process with peeks during budget formulation and budget execution, as well as the monthly AgMax update cycle. USDA does not currently have any additional volume information available.

16. Question: What data types should be expected from each source system?

Answer:

AgMax contains Investment data.

CSAM contains Security/System data.

EAR contains Business, Application and Infrastructure data.

17. Question: Section 2.2 of the Supplemental Specifications specific internet browsers. Can the government please further define version numbers for each browser that needs to be supported?

24. Question: OCIO Integration Project Vision document , 2.1 states the following:

Phase I is to gather and document requirements for the new system to support strategic planning across USDA and OCIO reporting requirements. An alternatives of analysis will be performed using the new requirements to determine the best recommendations.

Answer: The RFI responses should be focused on a potential solution that will be considered as part of an ongoing analysis of alternatives.

25. Question: OCIO Integration Project Vision document , 3.3 states the following:
