NOTE: This is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantities contract. The quantities in the Schedule of Items are estimates only. Task orders will be issued to the awarded contractor identifying specific units. Prices will be negotiated for each task order issued based upon the work required. Task Orders with completion/delivery dates of more then a 12 month period will allow the awarded contractor to request an annual economic price adjustment (within the pre-priced task order). With few exceptions, timing of the work is dependant upon completion of timber harvest and fuel treatment activities.

THESE SCHEDULES ARE FOR EVALUATION PURPOSES. SEE SECTION L FOR BUSINESS PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS.

* Items marked with an asterisk are considered Construction work for which construction clauses apply.

To be included in multiple-year Task Orders only:

Annual Economic Price Adjustment – Schedule B Only: The contractor shall state in the spaces below the economic price adjustment percentage to be used by the Government to compute future year prices. For instance, a 3% economic price adjustment factor is shown as 3% (rather than 103% or 1.03). Note that the economic price adjustment percentage can be either negative or positive. The factors stated will be compounded annually. If no percentage is entered, future year prices will be the same as base prices negotiated within the Task Order.

1/ The Minimum Acceptable Total Bid will be determined with each task order issued using standard Forest Service appraisal methods. Costs to be included in the appraisal will be stump-to-truck, which includes piling of landings, haul, scale, building and closing of temporary roads, and any required deposits. Road maintenance, road construction and reconstruction, will be service items and not included in the appraisal. The Minimum Acceptable Total Bid will be reflective of current market conditions at the time the task order is issued, and will be applicable to products required to be removed under each task order. Nonsawtimber and biomass products can be removed by the Contractor with agreement by the Contracting Officer. Contractor agrees to pay $0.25/CCF for the nonsawtimber and biomass removed, plus deposits required road maintenance.

No entry is required for timber products in the contractor’s price proposal in response to this solicitation. However, in all future individual task orders, the Contractor will enter the Bidder’s Total Bid for products required to be removed. Forest Service will determine proportionate rates for species groups included in the above table. These rates will become the Current Contract Rates established for stumpage payments in Appendix B.

Timber Removal Specifications in Appendix B will be for the products removed to meet the goals and objective assigned to each stand in each task order issued, and will be updated with each issued task order.

C.3 Specifications

Revise the last sentence to read “Specifications for timber removal can be found in Appendix B, and associated road plans and specifications in Appendix C and D”.
