Additional Information:
1. In addition to the attached maps, at the post-award meeting the contractor will receive individual unit maps and spreadsheets with plot lat/long coordinates. This data can be provided electronically at the request of the contractor.
2. Data shall be collected electronically and turned in as .cse or .exe files.
3. Seasonal Road Closures- Access to gated roads will require a temporary access permit and some time constraints due to bull elk seasons. Dates of hunting season are September 1st -19th and October 1st – 11th.
4. Flagging will not be supplied by the FS. Approved colors are yellow or orange.
5. Identification of plot centers. Plots are to be marked so that they are easily found during inspection. Plots that cannot be found will be rejected and the Contractor shall rework. Additional inspection will be charged to the Contractor. Plot centers shall be easily identified with a strip of flagging securely tied to a stick or survey stakes, or pin flags positioned upright in plot center. The plot number will be written on the flag. Secondary plot markings shall consist of one strip of flagging tied on trees or brush opposite one another with the plot center in between, if possible.
