Here are the answers to the 4 questions from yesterdays on site meeting with contractors.

1. Specs on wood treatment:

A. Treatment will be, Chemonite ( ACZA ) UC4A, Douglas Fir / wood, in the dimensions specified in the contract.

2.Restrictions/ Requirements on debris/sawdust in water:

A. With the type of wood treatment spec'ed above their are no EPA restrictions for saw dust in the water.

2. Need for staging area/security:

A. The successful bidder can use our overflow parking area adjacent to the picnic side of the lake complex. It is approx. 1 acre in size, gravel covered and has a lockable metal gate across it's access roadway, that the contractor can utilize. The contractor can also apply for a special use permit through Monument headquarters ( Rod Ludviqsen, 360-449-7844 ) to place a couple of self contained RV's on site, to stay in and for security purposes. These RV's must be self contained and they must empty their septic holding tanks off site at an appropriate dump site. ( Nearest site is at: Seaqwest State Park MP.5 HWY 504)

3. Weight limit on decks and boardwalk for equipment:

A. 3000 lbs max. So, no Bobcat type skid steer loaders, but equipment like a John Deer, Gator will be okay.

CLARIFICATION: Added The current specs call for pressure treated lumber to be( non incised ) but after checking in to the different levels of wood treatment, it looks like it has to be incised in order to get the level of wood treatment we need. Also we should specify that it be factory stained ( brown ) as well in order to get a even color appearance
