AG-024B-S-16-9012 Solicitation Questions 6/17/2016

1. Would the Government we allow 3rd party Time Between Overhaul (TBO) programs, like the MORE program? Reference section C.7.

No. At this time the Government is not allowing any 3rd party TBO programs including the MORE program.

2. If we have an aircraft equipped with a Garmin G1000 flight deck, will the government accept all the FM radios and 1 VHF-AM radio being mounted in the console?

For the 3 FM's and 1 AM radio, a pedestal mount will work for the mission, if the aircraft are equipped with a G-1000. That is where the third FM is on our current contract.

3. If we were to bid 15 King Air 200s – what would be the guidance for acceptable aircraft type based on OEM support?

The offeror needs to explain what they plan to do for OEM support in the mission and for inspections. If the OEM supports it based on the mission we fly then that would be acceptable. If it is something generic like “the aircraft has OEM support already and the current program is good enough”, that won't cut it. The proposal must include specific OEM support based on the mission outlined in the solicitation.
