Changed To

5.7 Utility Metering

Tenant can request connection to existing NASA SSC utility (e.g., power and water) or commodity (e.g., GN2 and GHe) systems. NASA will review all requests (IAW 5.2.B) and must approve and notify Tenant before proceeding. If approved, NASA will determine and notify the Tenant if the connection must be made with NASA’s contractor or if the Tenant will be allowed to make the connection with NASA oversight. The Tenant is responsible for designing and funding both the physical connection to the existing system and all modifications. NASA will review and approve submitted designs (IAW 5.2.C.v). The Tenant’s contractor can perform all work downstream of the approved physical connection.

Tenant shall fund and install revenue grade meters for any NASA-provided utilities, as well as meters for commodities on any new facilities and existing facilities requiring meters. Tenant shall obtain NASA's approval of the design for any such meter installation. NASA will inspect the installation, as well as perform periodic inspections, to validate that the meter is reading properly.
