About this file
This is a Sources Sought document issued by the Air Force to conduct market research for a Nano-Aerosol Profiling System (also referred to as Nano-Aerosol Analyzer). The document requests that potential respondents provide company information, ownership status, socio-economic classification, DUNS/CAGE codes, and web URLs. Respondents must identify whether they are the manufacturer or an authorized distributor/reseller of the required end item and disclose their willingness to allow release of proprietary data. Additional required information includes standard warranty details and recent sales history to commercial companies to establish commerciality.
Small business respondents are specifically encouraged to compete as prime contractors and should clearly describe their capability to provide end items, accessories, software, warranty support, and on-site training. All respondents should address capability survey questions regarding facility capabilities and staff composition, past experience on similar projects with contract numbers and points of contact, any specific requirements that would preclude viability of their solution, and established market prices for the requirement including whether terms and conditions differ between U.S. Government and commercial offerings. The Government anticipates that if the acquisition is not set aside for small business, the resulting contract may contain a small business utilization requirement, and all respondents may identify potential small-business sources for components, accessories, installation, training, maintenance, and other support.

Attention All Potential Respondents: If this acquisition is not set aside for small business, it is anticipated that the contract may contain a small business utilization requirement.
Please provide feedback on what areas of this requirement are likely candidates for small business subcontracting. All respondents may identify potential small-business sources for components, accessories, installation, training, maintenance, or other support associated with the requirement.
The following capability survey questions should also be addressed in your capabilities package:
1. Briefly describe the capabilities of your facility and the nature of the services/supplies that you provide. Please include a description of your staff composition and management structure.
2. Describe your company's past experience on previous projects similar in complexity to this requirement. Include contract number and date, a brief description, agency/organization supported, and point of contact name and telephone number.
3. Are there specific requirements in the documentation that we provided that would currently preclude your product/service from being a viable solution to our requirement?
4. Are there established market prices for our requirement? If you offer this product and/or service to both U.S. Government and commercial sources, is our requirement offered to both under similar terms and conditions? Briefly describe any differences.
