About this file

This is a packaging requirements form (AFMC Form 158, dated October 14, 2022) for federal contract F3QCAZ6068A003. The form establishes mandatory packaging and marking standards for deliverables under the contract, with one item listed requiring standard military packaging per MIL-STD-2073-1 with preservation level X and packing level B, marked in accordance with MIL-STD-129.

The form requires all wooden lumber, pallets, and containers to comply with International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures No. 15, specifying that wood packing material must be debarked and heat-treated to 56 degrees Centigrade (133 degrees Fahrenheit) for 30 minutes, with certification by an accredited agency recognized by the American Lumber Standards Committee. The contracting officer may invoke three additional packaging sections as needed: engineered or specialized containers (CDRS) requiring evaluation of existing DoD inventory before developing new designs; hazardous materials packaging compliant with CFR Title 29 Part 1910.1200, CFR Title 49, AFMAN 24-604, ICAO Technical Instructions, and IMDG Code; and packaging data provided per DD Form 2326 and DD Form 2169 in accordance with MIL-STD-2073-1. The form was completed by Cedric Williams, Organization 406 SCMS/GULAA, on March 10, 2026.
