About this file
This is a Bid Submittal form for Bid #22-0703-B titled "Household Waste Collection, Transportation, and Disposal" issued by an unspecified Florida county or jurisdiction. The bid encompasses the collection, transportation, and disposal of waste streams from the Household Electronics and Chemical Collection Center (HEC3), Mobile Collection Events, and Very Small Quantity Generator (VSQG) Business Collection Events to EPA-permitted Treatment, Storage & Disposal Facilities (TSDFs). The bid includes pricing for five major service categories: Chemical Waste Streams, Electronics Waste Streams, Supplemental Containers, Other Costs or Fees, and Intended Recycling/Disposal Company information. Chemical waste categories include 32 distinct waste types ranging from aerosols and antifreeze to poisons and UV lamps, with estimated annual quantities specified for each. Electronics waste includes nine categories such as computers, CRT and flat-screen televisions, and telecommunications devices, with estimated annual quantities of 500 to 22,000 units. Supplemental container services cover ten drum and pail sizes with estimated annual quantities ranging from 2 to 975 units. Other costs include Mobile Collection Event fees (27 annual events) and Elementary Neutralization Tank Service (1 annual event).
The total bid structure reflects a three-year contract with an annual cost of $30,000.00 and a three-year total cost of $90,000.00, with an "Unspecified" materials line item of $30,000.00 designated for unexpected materials that may be required during the contract term and must be properly authorized by the County. Bidders are required to provide detailed unit pricing for each waste category, container type, and service fee, as well as comprehensive information regarding intended disposal companies, treatment locations, and final disposal facilities for each waste stream. The form specifies that disposal methods for Corrosives and Poisons must be Incineration or treatment and not recycling or landfill, consistent with Subtitle C of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) requirements for hazardous waste management. No set-asides, incumbent information, or specific response or award dates are identified in this submittal form.
