About this file
This document is an Addendum to the Department of Children and Families (DCF) Request for Proposal (RFP) 2324 099 for the Child Abuse and Prevention Treatment Act (CAPTA) - Plans of Safe Care. The RFP seeks a Respondent to expand on existing evidence-based early intervention and home visitation services for at-risk pregnant women, parents/caregivers using substances, and infants affected by substances and their families. The Respondent is required to have existing evidence-based services and currently be providing services in Florida. The Home Visitors will create individualized Plans of Safe Care and provide referrals for voluntary services tailored to the families' needs. The RFP has a response due date of August 20, 2024, and is for services over three fiscal years from August 1, 2024 to June 30, 2027.
The RFP does not specify a funding amount, and Respondents must provide a proposed cost allocation plan including a line-item budget and budget narrative. The administrative rate is capped at 10%. The RFP can be awarded to one or multiple Vendors, and the Department does not have a predetermined number of contracts to be awarded. The funding source is the recurring state Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (CAPTA) grant.
