Bid submission instructions:
Beginning on the Alabamabuys supplier portal page, select the desired souring project. Once project is opened, make sure the left panel is expanded. If not, click on small double arrows to expand. Be sure to review each tab for necessary information, documentation and enter bid amounts on item grid as needed. After you have checked and completed each tab, you can validate and submit your bid.
Suppliers are required to enter a unit price and a supplier part number as part of the electronic bid. If the part number is not applicable, you may enter “N/A” in this field.
Award:
Award will be made “all or none” to the lowest responsible bidder meeting all specifications.
Descriptive Literature:
The brands and model numbers referenced provide a level of quality, and unless otherwise specified, are not restrictive. Suppliers bidding alternate items must provide complete descriptive/technical literature for consideration and evaluation with their bid, and with the bid copy as required by the SRC submission instructions. Reference to literature with a previous bid will not satisfy this requirement. Failure to provide the required literature may result in the rejection of the bid.
EVerify MOU:
Suppliers must attach a copy of their Everify MOU to their bid submission. The Everify MOU is mandatory for suppliers who employ persons within the State of Alabama. For suppliers that do not employ persons within the State of Alabama, this must be verified with a signed and dated statement, on letterhead, attached to the bid submission.
Materials, Supplies, or Equipment:
All materials, supplies, or equipment being bid and delivered to the State shall be new, unused, of recent manufacture, first class in every respect and suitable for their intended purpose.
Questions:
Questions must be submitted through the vendor portal in Alabamabuys from the Discussions tab by Friday April 19, 2024.
Requested Information:
Any additional information requested from a vendor must be furnished within five (5) days from receipt of request. Failure to provide the requested information may result in the rejection of your bid.
