About this file
This document outlines additional requirements for a state and local contract opportunity issued by the Nevada State Purchasing, on behalf of the Nevada Department of Wildlife - Fisheries Management, for hatchery fish food. The contract seeks vendors to provide fry feed (starter), grower (fingerling #3 & #4), production (pellets), and extruded feed to meet minimum protein requirements. The contract covers delivery locations across several Nevada counties, including Boulder City, Yerington, Ruby Valley, and Baker, with varying load size and delivery specifications. Vendors must include lead times and are required to work with hatchery managers on delivery schedules. Additional charges for palletizing and wrapping the feed must be disclosed, and any inferior feed must be replaced within five days of delivery.
The document outlines the minimum protein requirements for each feed type and instructions for vendors to indicate if they can meet these requirements. Vendors must also provide estimated freight charges and lead times for various order quantities to the specified delivery locations. The contract will be awarded to vendors who can meet the stated requirements and provide the most competitive pricing and delivery terms.
