About this file

This document is an Addendum to a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for Districtwide Communications Consultant Services for Miscellaneous Projects in Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties. The RFP (DOT-RFP-23-6181LZ) seeks consultant services for public meeting notices, agendas, and other communications support on an as-needed basis. The document revises the allowable hourly wage range for the Community Outreach Specialist position and provides responses to questions received from prospective proposers regarding submittal requirements, staffing, and project management.

The RFP has a tentative budgetary ceiling of $1.5 million, with task work orders and expense budgets to be developed and approved based on FDOT's needs. The proposed Project Manager, Senior Community Outreach Specialist, and Community Outreach Specialist must be stationed locally, while other positions can be performed remotely. Pre-work conferences are not billable, but progress meetings are billable to FDOT. The selected consultant will provide services on an as-needed basis, with no guarantee of the full scope being utilized.
