About this file

This document is an Addendum Two Revised Scope of Work for Bid S-10-25, issued by the City of Cheyenne, Wyoming, for the Kiwanis Community House hardwood floor replacement project located at 4603 Lions Park Drive. The project involves removing existing flooring and base coving from approximately 3,870 square feet, installing standard hardwood underlayment and 3 1/4 Maple Grade 2 hardwood, installing black metal transition strips at six interior thresholds, and applying a waterborne sport court finish with specific Bona brand sealant and finish products. The work must be completed between January 27th and March 2nd, with a two-year warranty on workmanship and materials.

The bid includes a base bid for reinstalling existing coving and a separate alternate bid item to replace all base coving with new black coving. The City specifies that no subfloor replacement is anticipated, and four existing surface-mount electrical boxes will remain in place for future electrician replacement. Bidders are required to submit a Bid Bond only for the base bid, and special care must be taken to ensure the new floor height does not restrict the operation of partition or sliding doors. The document provides detailed specifications for the flooring installation, including the specific finish products to be used and the application process.
