About this file
This is Addendum Two to an Invitation to Bid issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky Department for Facilities and Support Services, Division of Engineering and Contract Administration, for Electrical Switchgear Replacement & Upgrade at West Kentucky Community & Technical College in Paducah, Kentucky. The addendum, dated September 5, 2023, modifies the original RFB-40-24 specification requirements and becomes binding upon the contract to be issued. The addendum requires the contractor to furnish and install a 3-pole, 60-amp, non-fused disconnect between the primary side of transformer 'CH-TX-EQ' and transfer switch 'CH-ATS-EQ' in Carson Hall's basement floor plan, with proper coordination of placement to maintain NEC-required working clearances. The transformer basis-of-design model is clarified as E-SAVER-25H for Section 26200 Low Voltage Distribution Transformers.
The addendum also clarifies Section 26200 specifications regarding transformer options by omitting integrated power and energy logger metering requirements, as well as eliminating the need for integrated input and output breakers and infrared windows. These modifications represent deletions from the original specifications rather than additions of new work or pricing requirements. The addendum references drawings and additional documentation to be distributed by Lynn Imaging and supersedes previously issued specifications and drawings for this project.
