About this file

This document is an Addendum to Invitation to Bid No. RFB-284-23 issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky Department for Facilities and Support Services Division of Engineering and Contract Administration for the Outwood Rescare Fire Water Storage Rescare Community Living project in Christian County, Kentucky. The addendum includes changes to the specifications and drawings, such as modifying the water tower height dimensions, changing the valve vault details, and adding an altitude valve requirement. Additional information is provided, including the project budget of $1,068,375, a plan holders list available at Lynn Imaging, contractor responsibility for state and local taxes, a pending FAA obstruction analysis, and a 4-6 week review period for potential State Fire Marshall approval. The addendum also includes updates to the painting specification, such as the deletion of certain sections and the addition of a new section for the steel water storage tank painting.

The painting specification outlines the surface preparation, coating systems, and performance requirements for both the tank interior and exterior. The interior coating system is a high-build, zinc/epoxy system, while the exterior uses a traditional zinc/epoxy/urethane system. The document also includes details on application methods, testing, and warranty requirements.
