About this file

This addendum to Invitation to Bid (IFB) CTA26004R is issued by the California Tahoe Conservancy in collaboration with multiple state and local agencies including the Natural Resources Agency, Department of Finance, City of South Lake Tahoe, El Dorado County, Placer County, and the U.S. Forest Service. The procurement seeks fuels management activities involving hand cutting of standing live and dead trees and brush, piling logs and slash, and chipping operations on approximately 18.29 acres of land owned by the Conservancy and USDA Forest Service in the Kings Beach area. The addendum, dated October 23, 2026, modifies specific sections of the original IFB to clarify bidder qualifications and award criteria. No specific response date, due date, site visit information, bidder's conference details, or award date is provided in this addendum document.

The contract award will be made to the lowest responsive responsible bidder based on the lowest lump sum bid for all categories, with contractor bid rates serving as the basis for future tree removal services. The total contract amount shall not exceed $200,000.00. The procurement is federally funded under 2 CFR 200 Appendix II (H) and requires that prospective bidders not be debarred, suspended, or otherwise excluded from federal transactions, with bidder status verified through the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) Exclusions database prior to award. Any bidders found to be excluded in SAM.gov at the time of bid evaluation will be deemed non-responsive and ineligible for award. Questions regarding the addendum should be directed to Jason Pollard, Forest Management Coordinator.
