About this file
This is Addendum Three to an Invitation to Bid (RFB-103-27) issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky Department for Facilities and Support Services, Division of Engineering and Contract Administration, for emergency flood repair work at Green River Campground in Campbellsville, Kentucky. The addendum, dated October 30, 2026, establishes binding changes to the original specifications and drawings dated September 15, 2026. Final technical questions must be submitted by 12:00 PM EST on November 4, 2026, with a final addendum to be issued on that same date if needed. The project is identified as Engineering File No. 670-CC2Q-GR10-00 and C/S Project No. 2512.
The addendum includes general provisions allowing contractors to stay on-site in RVs or camping vehicles at a cost of $30.00 per night per campsite, with contractors responsible for their own trash, sanitary waste removal, electrical, and water supply. One bathhouse will remain open for shower use, which contractors must clean and maintain. Regarding specifications and drawings, the addendum permits an alternative to the originally specified 3-inch I.P.S. DR11 HDPE water mains, allowing instead 2-inch SDR 21 PVC piping that meets ASTM D2241 and NSF/ANSI 61 standards for potable water, with detailed requirements for joints, fittings, valves, and installation procedures. Additional revisions include modifications to detail 2 on sheet C503 related to water system thrust blocking details.
