About this file

This document is an Addendum (No. 01) issued on August 11, 2025, by alt32 Architecture | Design for the Commonwealth of Kentucky's Department for Facilities and Support Services, specifically for the Envelope Restoration project at the Ravenna Readiness Center for the Department of Military Affairs. The addendum provides clarification and updates to the contract documents, with two primary modifications: the inclusion of a blast-resistant hardware schedule and updates to drawing Page G2 to add subsurface storm drainage. The project involves multiple exterior door sets, including blast-resistant hollow metal doors, single blast-resistant openings, and aluminum blast-resistant openings across five total door openings.

The hardware schedule details specific technical requirements for each door set, including continuous hinges, multi-point locksets, cores, closers, door sweeps, and thresholds. The doors are specified with blast-resistant characteristics, indicating a high-security or specialized military facility requirement. The addendum emphasizes that contractors must acknowledge receipt of these updates in their proposal, and the modifications become part of the binding contract documents. The specifications include precise measurements, door types (HMD Type HM-F x HMF Type HM-1), and specific hardware manufacturer codes and finishes, suggesting a detailed and technical procurement process.
