About this file
This document is an Addendum to an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky Department for Facilities and Support Services Division of Engineering and Contract Administration for the Re-Ad of RFB-197-23 Empath Unit Development at Eastern State Hospital, Cabinet for Health and Family Services, located in Lexington, Kentucky.
The Addendum clarifies requirements for a secured 6-foot tall wood construction fence around the work area to prevent non-construction personnel access and injury. The fence must be securely installed with driven steel posts, not weighted posts, and any pavement drilling for supports must be patched prior to leaving the site. The fence is to be removed completely at the end of the project. The Addendum also refers bidders to an attached floor plan showing the extent of the required construction fencing, as well as a photo example of the wood fence.
