About this file

This is an Addendum One to an Invitation for Bids (IFB) issued by the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (UNCW) Purchasing Services for debris removal services. The IFB number is 72-BBSK27018, with an opening date and time of October 22, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. ET. The service area encompasses the UNCW campus, which is approximately 656 acres. The contract does not specify a guaranteed minimum payment; compensation will be based solely on actual services received. Bidders are required to submit their complete IFB responses with all required sections completed and attachments by the stated deadline via electronic submission through eVP.

Pricing must follow Attachment A of the IFB, though vendors may submit supplemental pricing schedules identifying additional debris removal services and associated unit rates beyond those specifically listed. Tipping fees charged by disposal facilities will be treated as pass-through costs and reimbursed at actual invoiced amounts, provided they do not exceed the facility's charged fees and are supported by weight tickets or receipts. The University will designate an approved disposal facility within 15 miles of campus; if a facility is located beyond 15 miles, contractors may receive equitable adjustment based on additional mileage traveled. No specific professional credentials are required, though emergency management credentials, safety certifications, environmental compliance expertise, and demonstrated FEMA disaster response experience are preferred. The previous contract (72-PALG23061) was bid on June 22, 2023, and this new solicitation is being released due to contract expiration.
