About this file
Addendum Number One for the 2024 Runway 10/28 Seal Coat and Marking Removal and Remark Airfield project is issued by the Arapahoe County Public Airport Authority for Centennial Airport in Englewood, Colorado. The addendum provides clarifications and updates to the original bid documents, including an updated electronic proposal form and modifications to the pavement marking plan. Key changes include specifying that Runway 10/28 will receive two coats of paint (initial and final), with 52,700 square feet of initial markings, and detailing the removal and remarking process for runway markings. The document confirms that initial markings will only be on Runway 10/28, with no edge markings, and that the initial and final markings will follow the same specifications.
The bid items include mobilization, traffic control, rapid cure asphalt seal coat (with and without aggregate), marking removal, initial and final pavement markings, and black pavement marking. Quantities range from 1 unit for mobilization and traffic control to 285,500 square feet for final pavement marking. The project requires the contractor to provide their own water meter, has a designated area for disposing of gray water and solids from water blasting, and has a clean water source on-site. Builder's Risk Insurance is not required for this project. The work on Runway 10/28 and Taxiway C connectors must be completed prior to May 25, 2024, with bids due by 10:00 a.m. on February 28, 2024.
