Addendum No. 1
Invitation for Bid (IFB) #56A0825 Gazex® Remote Avalanche Control Equipment Installation Service in Alpine and El
Dorado Counties
NOTICE TO ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS:
Addendum No. 1 is being issued for the above-referenced IFB. Bids for this work shall be with the full understanding of this Addendum.
The following represents questions submitted for this IFB and the Department’s responses:
Question 1: We are interested in bidding on the Gazex services contract you have posted, but our Type A contractor license with the state of California is currently in the process of being renewed. We are anticipating another 4-6 weeks before the process is complete. Do we need to have a current license when the Bid is due on the 31st of October? Or are there any special conditions that you are aware of for contractors currently renewing licenses?
Answer 1: Please refer to IFB Section C, Item 10 Contractor’s License for licensing requirements at the time of bid submittal.
All other terms and conditions set forth in the IFB remain in full force and effect.
Sincerely, Angelica Santillan Angelica Santillan Contract Analyst http://www.dot.ca.gov/dpac/ http://www.dot.ca.gov/dpac/
