About this file
This document is Addendum No. Three to the Invitation to Bid No. RFB-105-25 for the Golf Course Bunker Project at Yatesville State Park in Louisa, Kentucky, issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky Department for Facilities and Support Services Division of Engineering and Contract Administration. The addendum addresses several questions from bidders regarding the project, including the ability to trim trees along the cart paths, the condition of the existing bunker outfall pipes, the desired start date range, and the staging and storage locations for materials. The Commonwealth reserves the right to adjust the project schedule as required by weather and other facility needs, and confirms that the Golf Maintenance and Pro Shop Parking lots are the designated delivery and staging areas for sand, gravel, and storage of polymer.
The document also states that the contractor will be able to dispose of organic materials, such as sand, gravel, and grass, on-site in strategic areas provided by the Department of Parks. No additional details are provided regarding pricing, set-asides, funding, or other contract-specific information.

DEPARTMENT FOR FACILITIES AND SUPPORT SERVICES
DIVISION OF ENGINEERING AND CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION
INVITATION TO BID NO: RFB-105-25
FOR: Golf Course Bunker Project Yatesville State Park Department of Parks Louisa, Kentucky
DATE: November 8, 2024
RFB-785-2500000198
ADDENDUM NO. Three (3)
BIDDER SHALL CONFORM TO THE FOLLOWING CHANGES AS SAME SHALL BECOME BINDING
UPON THE CONTRACT TO BE ISSUED IN RESPONSE TO THIS INVITATION TO BID.
Item 1: Questions and responses:
A. Due to steep and narrow nature of the cart paths, will the golf course be able to trim the trees prior to construction? Currently the trees are too low for typical equipment of this type of construction. YES
B. Is the contractor to assume that all bunker outfall pipes are functional and not needing replacement. If so, is there an estimated quantity for outside drainage? YES. If any crushed or compromised outfall pipes are found outside of the bunker cavity, the Department of Parks will assume responsibility for amending the drainage after that point.
C. What is the desired start date range for this project? ASAP, Winter 2024/2025 start date with a 120-day completion goal. Commonwealth reserves the right to extend and adjust scheduling as required by weather and other various overall project and facility requirements.
D. Where can we stage gravel and sand for construction? It appears there is limited access points on course, is the maintenance shop and club house the only access point for sand and gravel? May it be stored in the maintenance shop parking lot or club house parking lot? Golf Maintenance and Pro Shop Parking lots are the delivery/staging locations for sand/gravel.
E. Where can we store polymer for construction? It needs to be heated indoors; this is typically done in a maintenance shop. The Maintenance Facilities adjacent to the golf course will have ample area provided to store polymer.
