About this file
This is Addendum No. One to a confiscated firearms sale opportunity issued by the Columbus Consolidated Government in Georgia. The City is offering confiscated firearms for sale to a licensed firearms dealer who will provide credit or execute a swap arrangement to purchase Rock River LE2020M rifles with accessories. The addendum modifies terms of the original opportunity, with a revised due date of November 2, 2022, for interested parties to submit proposals or bids.
The addendum does not specify quantities of firearms available, pricing structures, or other financial terms in the excerpt provided. Prospective bidders must hold a valid firearms dealer license to participate. Additional details regarding the condition and inventory of confiscated firearms, specific specifications for the Rock River LE2020M rifles and accessories, and the mechanics of the credit or swap arrangement should be referenced in the original solicitation documents and any subsequent addenda.

A. City’s response to submitted questions
1. Question: “Are we able to submit a bid just for the purpose of the confiscated firearms and not the Rock River rifles?”
Response: No. The user department wants to swap the firearms for the specified Rock
River rifles.
2. Question: “Would a comparable unit of a different brand be accepted?”
Response: A different brand will not be accepted for the rifle, but the user department is willing to consider a comparable optic or light.
