About this file

Addendum No. Two for IFB-2024-W-005 is issued by the Pueblo West Metropolitan District for a Filter & Clarifier Rehabilitation project. The addendum addresses seven questions from potential bidders regarding the project, clarifying details such as location drawings (which will not be provided due to security protocols), project milestones, bid schedule format, prevailing wage status, and insurance requirements. The project involves rehabilitating filters 5, 6, 8, and 11, which includes removing and disposing of existing media, installing new media, surface preparation, coating filter and clarifier basins, replacing nozzles, waste gates, gaskets, and steel fasteners. The contractor is expected to complete the work within 120 calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed.

The bid schedule is divided into two parts: Schedule A for Filters 5 & 6 and Schedule B for Clarifiers 8 & 11, with various line items including mobilization/demobilization, media removal and disposal, and installation of specific gravel, sand, and media types. Highlighted items are identified as proprietary to Roberts Water Technologies, Inc. The bid form indicates that the project is not a prevailing wage project, and no engineer's estimate will be provided. Bidders are required to have a builders risk insurance policy with a $100 deductible on the insurance portion of the work. The bid will remain open for 30 days after the bid opening, and the successful bidder must sign the agreement and submit required documents within 10 days of the Notice of Award.
