About this file
This document is an Invitation to Bid (ITB) No. 25-83101601-ITB from the Florida Department of Management Services for a Natural Gas Supply contract. Addendum No. 2 provides revisions to the original ITB and includes a comprehensive set of questions and answers. The solicitation covers natural gas supply for state facilities from January 1, 2023, to September 17, 2025, with potential renewal options. The addendum includes updates to MFMP training information, adds Attachment P (State of Florida Meter Location and Usage Report), and modifies the Financial Consequences Chart to outline specific reporting requirements and associated penalties for late or incomplete submissions.
The ITB includes detailed provisions for natural gas supply, with contractors required to honor contracted rates for existing and potential add-on meters. The document references multiple attachments, including Florida Gas Transmission Service agreements and a meter location report. Contractors will be responsible for quarterly sales reports, transaction fee reports, and annual meter location reports, with financial penalties ranging from $100 to $250 per day for late submissions. While specific pricing details are not provided in this addendum, the document emphasizes the need for precise reporting and compliance with state procurement requirements. The solicitation appears to be part of a comprehensive state-wide natural gas procurement strategy, with flexibility for individual facility needs to be addressed through specific Request for Quote (RFQ) or Purchase Order (PO) processes.
