About this file

Addendum No. 2 is issued by the Department of Military Affairs, Florida State Guard (FSG) Purchasing for the State Guard Uniform Apparel and Components solicitation (No. FSG-RFP-24/25-1006). This addendum provides clarification on minimum specifications for the uniform procurement, emphasizing that manufacturing processes, measurements, brands, or trade names are not intended to favor or exclude any proposer, but rather to establish minimum specifications that must be met or exceeded. The Florida State Guard reserves the right to make modifications to color selections upon receipt and inspection of the first product prototype.

The addendum reinforces the procurement's flexibility, allowing respondents to propose unique manufacturing processes or styles, provided the material, content, and product quality are approved by the Division or an independent commodity testing laboratory. This approach ensures that potential vendors have latitude in their proposed solutions while maintaining strict quality standards for the state guard uniform apparel and components. The document underscores the FSG's commitment to obtaining high-quality uniform materials that meet the specific needs of the Florida State Guard personnel.
